Do I have to install any software to use the vLOGO Tool?
You don't have to install any software on your computer to use the vLOGO Tool; the vLOGO tool starts via your web browser. This means you can use it on any computer with Internet access and for example to generate virtual product samples while visiting a customer.
How can I save the product image together with the logo?
You can save the product image and logo either on your hard disk or on the PSI web server. This allows you to use the image in a presentation.
Who can view my uploaded logos?
Naturally, any image files you upload cannot be viewed by other parties and can only be accessed by you.
I can't detach the logo from its background. What could the reason be?
Check whether the background colour of the logo is pure white or pure black: only these backgrounds can be removed.
How can I integrate the logo in such a way as to include the product's reflections and shadows?
To do this use the "Integrate" function in the "Inking" -> "Colour mixture" menu. You can also improve the result by moving the "Transparency" slider.
Can I remove the background of a logo?
If your logo is set against a black or white background you can make this invisible using the "Remove background" function. Check the "Remove background" box and select "White" or "Black" in the drop-down menu.
Sometimes the product images are too small. How can I make them bigger?
The product images can be adjusted using the [+] and [-] buttons on the left beneath the menu.
After being detached the logo has untidy edges. How can I clean them up?
If the edges are untidy after being detached move the "Tolerance" slider to the right until the unsightly parts disappear.
Can I adapt the logo's colour to blend in with the background?
Use the "Integrate" function in the "Colour mixture" menu to adapt your logo to the colour of the background.
Can I change the colour of the logo?
Use the "Inking" button to colour your logo and to change its covering power.
How can I compress the height or width of the logo?
Hold down SHIFT while using the "Scale" function.
How can I rotate the logo through 90 degrees?
Hold down SHIFT while using the "Rotate" function. The logo will then turn in 45 degree steps.
