The promotional products industry starts with optimism into the New Year
This is shown by the results of the representative PSI index of business activity recorded during the fair by an independent market research institute. Questioned on future business development in the industry, only a quarter of promotional products distributors expect a drop in sales whereas almost 80 percent of companies expect a further increase or at least a stable trend.

In these times of rapidly shifting industries it has become ever-important to keep a finger on the pulse and follow trends and developments in the market. This is why the Promotional Product Service Institute (PSI) conducted the first PSI Panel in the last quarter of 2007, consisting of over 400 international members. As part of the survey, members were presented with questions regarding for example sales expectancy, growth markets, influence from Asia, or import behaviour. This panel, unique to the European market, will be held annually by PSI from now on and our medium term goal is to establish an industry barometer to aid you as PSI Members in your strategic planning.
