Low-Emission Zone of Düsseldorf
As of 15 February 2009 the state capital Düsseldorf has a green zone. Since that time cars with an emissions decal only are allowed to enter the intra-urban area. Detailed information about the green zone, the badge requirement and in particular about the derogations, as well as a map of the affected streets can be found here in detail: further information
Kindly please note that all main access routes (motorways) to the fairground of Messe Dusseldorf are outside the above mentioned low-emission zone. But if you or maybe your stand builder is going to stay inside this low-emission zone during set-up or during the duration of the fair, you will need a valid low-emission badge for arrival and departure to and from your hotel. Failure to display the appropriate sticker can result in a 40,- ERU fine and a demerit point.
Here you can find a list of selected service points of TÜV Rheinland, which are entitled to assign the environmental badge - certainly there will be also one service point along your route to Dusseldorf.
